The Sou newsletter goes out roughly once a month. It is short, written by the editor, and contains things that did not make it into a full post.

What you get

Each issue collects a few notes from the past month: a quick recap of new articles, a couple of links to outside writing about articles that seemed worth passing on, and one or two short thoughts that are not long enough to be standalone posts. The whole thing usually fits on one screen.

Frequency

One issue per month, give or take a week. There is no automated drip sequence, no welcome series, no follow-up emails between issues. If a month is quiet, no issue is sent — readers are not emailed just to keep the list warm.

How to subscribe

Subscription is currently invitation-based and not yet open through this page. If you would like to be added to the list, send a short email to [email protected] with "subscribe" in the subject line. You will receive a confirmation reply within a few days.

What we do not do

The list is not shared with anyone, ever. There is no advertising in the newsletter, no sponsored mentions, no affiliate links. Open and click tracking are off — the editor cannot tell who read what.

How to unsubscribe

Reply to any issue with the word "unsubscribe", or write to [email protected]. Removal is processed manually, usually the same day.
